From the day of launch Ducati had termed the Diavel as a ‘power-cruiser’. And the term holds good too. With 1,262cc that comes with a maximum of 156bhp at 9,500rpm and develops a peak torque of 129Nm at 5,000rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. Ducati has added a belt for the final drive in XDiavel unlike the usual chain, which gives the bike a characteristic of a conventional cruiser.
This cruiser comes with two variants – the XDiavel and the XDiavel S. Both the versions have the same engine and the specifications. But on the XDiavel S will you will get a full LED lighting cluster along with pre-installed Bluetooth and an infotainment system and machined finish on the alloys, engine covers and certain cosmetic add ons. The best part of the story is both the XDiavel and the existing Diavel will co-exist in the market.
Here is a sneak peak comparison of the New version to the existing version.
