Certainly one of the much-awaited motorcycles in India. After the Austrian manufacturers mean machine took the Indian bike lovers by storm, the face-lifted version of KTM Duke 390 may launch anytime in the early 2017.
In the newer version the bike gets both cosmetic as well as mechanical upgrades, making it sportier and more feature-rich than the current model. The design is inspired from the Super Duke 1290, especially the identical fuel tank extension and high mounted LED blinkers and the split headlamps and the high-mounted LED blinkers.
The new Duke will feature the following updates:
1. Larger tank shrouds in contrast color
2. Re-designed fuel tank
3. Black-painted handlebar
4. Exposed trellis sub-frame
5. Smaller rear section.
6. All-new colored LCD instrument cluster
The new-generation Duke 390 is powered with the same 373.2cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Added to a 6-speed gearbox, this engine delivers power worth 44bhp.
The new KTM Duke 390 will compete with the Honda CB300F, Kawasaki Z300, Benelli TNT 302 and to be launched BMW G310R. One thing is for sure the fierce battle between the motorcycling giants is giving the Indian riders a reason to smile.
